Dusting off the Camera..

In this adventure we call life, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle and not have time for hobbies or little things that make our souls happy.

The one thing I never seem to make time for is art. In any shape or form. That doesn’t stop me from thinking about projects but actually getting to them seems out of reach.

Lately I have gotten out my Canon camera and have started to capture some of these life moments as they are quickly passing by. It’s reminding me not only how much I love taking pictures, but to slow down and make time for things that make me happy.

Fall in New England is the most beautiful time. I am so grateful to see the beautiful trees everyday and I am making a promise to myself to make more time to capture these moments!

I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

Sunflower Fields Forever

Last weekend while I was visited home, I checked out the sunflower field at Buttonwood’s Farm in Griswold, CT. Myself (and my mom) could not get over just how beautiful this natural display is! It is definitely a hidden gem of the quiet corner.

I made a few panoramas- created them using Photoshop and a somewhat steady hand- and took plenty of other pictures as well.
