Weekend Wedding in Annapolis, Maryland

I had the wonderful opportunity to head to Annapolis, Maryland for my cousin’s wedding in August. While the drive there was stressful to say the least (New York City and the Jersey turnpike around rush hour is no joke!) it was worth it.

We stayed at the Loews Annapolis hotel which is also where the wedding reception was. It was a beautiful hotel; rustic nautical elements around every corner. Just a step outside was the downtown area full of restaurants, shops, and the Chesapeake Bay. The town itself is full of charm. We had a little bit of time to explore before the wedding and even had a chance to try some of that famous Maryland crab. Yum.

My cousin’s wedding was one of a kind. The duo exchanged vows at the beautiful chapel on the Naval Academy. I have never seen such a beautiful church! The organ itself was like none other. It was simply a once in a lifetime wedding and I was so happy to be a part of it.

Behind the lighthouse is a very private beach where we went last summer to look for seaglass.
